All children are innately creative, but it’s a trait that needs to be
nurtured in order to reach it’s full potential. Unfortunately today it’s
becoming increasingly cast aside as a child gets older.
It was my goal to use design to not only re-educate parents about creativity and its importance, but also as a tool they can utilize to begin to fill in the gaps that our current education system is leaving in their child’s creative learning. Inspired by my research, I created Spark, a service directed at the parents of students in grades 5 through 9 that aids in creating environments, adopting attitudes, and completing activities with their child that help to inspire creativity.
